Our client, a thriving company in the FMCG sector, is seeking a skilled Warehouse Manager to oversee operations on an initial 12-month contract. In this role, you will lead the onsite warehousing and logistics functions, ensuring daily operations are completed efficiently with a hands-on approach to drive performance improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage all direct reports to ensure daily customer orders are delivered in the most cost-effective manner.
Guide the warehouse team to stay engaged, productive, and focused on problem-solving.
Cultivate a Continuous Improvement culture within the business and implement new processes.
Drive KPIs within your team, covering health and safety, quality, customer service, labour, and materials.
Develop strong relationships and collaborate with other departments to ensure stock availability.
Oversee daily warehouse operations and manage the supply of raw materials and packaging to production teams.
Ensure all team training is completed in compliance with health and safety standards and company procedures.
Ensure the WMS system is fully utilised, with information maintained in line with company procedures, ensuring up-to-date and accurate stock counts.

Ideal Candidate:

Previous experience as a Warehouse Manager within the FMCG sector.
Proven ability to maintain excellent Health & Safety standards.
Experience with WMS systems and proficiency in their effective utilisation.
Strong communication and leadership skills to build rapport with your team and deliver high performance.
