Sales Account Manager Bradford - GBP30k - GBP38k + bonus + car allowance and excellent benefits

Our client is logistics/ supply chain services business based in Bradford. Dedicated road freight, same-day courier deliveries, global air and sea freight forwarding services. Due to continued growth and expansion, they are now looking to recruit a Sales Account Manager.

As a Sales Account Manager, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, and maintaining client relationships, and driving revenue growth. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and a strong background in software solutions, particularly Salesforce, to manage the sales pipeline and enhance customer engagement effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research, networking, and prospecting.
  • Develop and nurture long-term relationships with key stakeholders and potential clients.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations to showcase our clients services and solutions.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop strategies that drive lead generation and enhance brand awareness.
  • Stay informed on industry trends and competitor activities to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Prepare detailed proposals and negotiate contracts to secure new business deals.
  • Utilize CRM tools, particularly Salesforce, to track sales activities, manage customer interactions, and generate progress reports.
  • Provide insightful feedback to product development teams based on client needs and market demands.
  • Meet and exceed key performance indicators (KPIs) and sales targets.

Experience & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in business development or sales within the logistics industry.
  • Strong understanding of software solutions, with hands-on experience using Salesforce being highly advantageous.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with a diverse clientele.
  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships and collaborate within a team-oriented environment.
  • Strong analytical skills, with a results-driven approach to sales and business growth.
  • Proactive problem-solving and decision-making abilities in a fast-paced environment.
