Supply Chain & Warehouse Manager

Due to continued growth and success, there is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Warehouse & Supply Chain Manager to join the team and play a crucial role in driving operational efficiency, optimizing supply chain processes, and supporting ambitious expansion plans.

The Role:
The Warehouse & Supply Chain Manager will be responsible for overseeing the entire supply chain and warehouse operations, ensuring smooth and cost-effective processes from procurement to distribution. This individual will manage a team of 8 across warehousing, purchasing, and planning, ensuring efficiency and continuous improvement in operations. This is a key leadership position requiring a strategic thinker with a hands-on approach who can develop a high-performing team while implementing best practices to improve productivity and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leading and managing warehouse operations, ensuring stock accuracy, efficient storage, and timely dispatch of goods.

• Overseeing the supply chain function, from procurement to logistics, ensuring optimal stock levels and supplier performance.

• Developing and implementing strategies to improve supply chain efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance service levels.

• Working closely with production, sales, and finance teams to align supply chain processes with business objectives.

• Managing and mentoring the warehouse and supply chain teams, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

• Ensuring compliance with health & safety regulations, quality standards, and company policies.

• Implementing and optimizing inventory management systems to enhance accuracy and reduce waste.

• Analyzing data and performance metrics to drive operational improvements.

• Building strong relationships with suppliers and logistics partners to enhance supply chain reliability.

Candidate Requirements:

• Proven experience in a Warehouse & Supply Chain Manager or similar role within the manufacturing industry.

• Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and develop teams.

• Experience managing teams across warehousing, purchasing, and planning.

• Proactive, versatile, and adaptable approach to problem-solving.

• Expertise in supply chain management, inventory control, and warehouse operations.

• Commercial awareness with a strategic mindset to drive business efficiencies.

• Excellent problem-solving abilities, analytical skills, and attention to detail.

• Knowledge of ERP and warehouse management systems.

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
