Role Overview:

We are seeking a proactive Assistant Buyer to join our client's procurement team. This role is ideal for individuals located in West or Central Kent who are eager to support high-profile projects across the region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the procurement process by assisting in the sourcing and purchasing of materials.
  • Collaborate with project teams to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement.
  • Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and negotiate favorable terms.
  • Assist in managing inventory and tracking orders.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Experience in a buying or procurement role, preferably in Education, Healthcare, Leisure, Commercial, or Government projects.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and efficiently under pressure.
