Role Overview

Duties of the Warehouse Manager will include but not be limited to:

  • Oversee all warehouse operations including goods in, goods out, and stock management
  • Implement and monitor KPIs to drive efficiency and performance improvements
  • Manage a team, providing leadership, training, and performance management
  • Maintain compliance with health & safety regulations and company policies
  • Conduct inventory management, stock control, and audits to ensure accuracy
  • Coordinate with logistics teams to ensure timely and efficient distribution
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance warehouse operations
  • Manage equipment maintenance and ensure all machinery is operational
  • Handle staff scheduling and manage workload distribution.

About the Role

Are you an experienced Warehouse Manager looking to join a leading UK manufacturer of away-from-home paper hygiene products based in Royton?

We are looking for a Warehouse Manager to join our paper converting site in Royton, Oldham, responsible for managing the Finished Goods and Raw Materials functions.

In this brand new role, you will be working Monday to Thursday, 08:30 - 17:00, with an early 16:00 p.m. finish on a Friday!

Essential Skills

Ideally you will possess:

  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams
  • Excellent understanding of warehouse operations, stock control, and logistics
  • Ability to analyse and improve warehouse efficiency and KPIs
  • Hands-on approach with a proactive problem-solving mindset
  • You will be confident & experienced with IT systems, stock management software, & be strongly process oriented.

This role would suit candidates with experience in a FMCG manufacturing environment and leading a team as a Warehouse Manager.
