Supply Chain Director

An opportunity for a strategic Supply Chain Director to lead and optimise end-to-end supply chain operations and drive supply chain excellence.

Collaborating with procurement, inventory management, warehousing, and distribution to ensure alignment with the company's strategic objectives and operational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute a centralised supply chain strategy to enhance efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and customer satisfaction and embed a culture of continuous improvement.
  Oversee vendor relationships, stock efficiency, analytics and inventory management.
  Leverage data analytics to improve demand forecasting and stock optimisation.
  Foster strong supplier relationships to drive performance and cost control.
  Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing supply chain team.
  Implement governance and identify and mitigate supply chain risks while ensuring business continuity.

Skills and Experience:

• Proven experience in end-to-end supply chain management, with 5+ years in a senior leadership role.
• Demonstrated achievements in leading transformation and creating structured, centralised supply chains.
• Strong leadership skills and experience in nurturing and developing high performing teams
  Expertise in supply chain systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or other ERP platforms).
  Strong analytical and negotiation skills
  A results-driven, customer-focused mindset.
  Experience in process improvement (Six Sigma desirable).
• Proactive, detailed and data driven
  A background in wholesale distribution, manufacturing, or retail is desirable.
• Must be able to travel within the UK
