We are now looking for a Procurement Manager to join us on a full-time permanent basis with flexible working options.

The Role
As a Procurement Manager, you will manage end-to end procurement processes and oversee contract awards, specifically supporting our science directorate.
Line managing two direct reports, you will oversee their performance and provide general advice regarding contracts, suppliers and processes.
You will ensure compliance with formal contracts and procurement regulations whilst developing and maintaining relationships with suppliers.
Additionally you will:
- Provide support in all aspects of the contract awarding process
- Manage the procurement process and provide support for negotiations
- Review and manage supplier performance
- Oversee contract administration and supporting processes
About You
To be considered as a Procurement Manager, you will need
- Experience of contract negotiation
- Experience of managing an end-to-end procurement process whilst ensuring compliance and adhering to set guidelines.
- The ability to work as part of a team and use initiative to deliver outcomes
- The ability to persuade, influence and negotiate with internal and external stakeholders
- A CIPS qualification (or the willingness to work toward this)
