This role is within the Supply Chain department and will support development and management of commercial contracts post contract award and support procurement activity pre-contract award.

This will suit someone who thrives in an environment where they can be flexible, enjoy exploring different approaches and thinking on their feet. They will be confident in contract management and providing commercial solutions, as well as being experienced in Supplier Relationship Management.

We are looking for a dynamic, passionate commercial contracts professional to be a Business Partner primarily to the Customer Operations function by supporting, challenging and advising on strategic and commercial decision-making related to third-party providers.

Experience of managing IT contracts required.

The IT Contracts Specialist will need to be able to:

• Understand the efficiency metrics and commercial models of commercial contracts.
• Highly numerate and able to conduct financial analysis.
• Negotiate commercial constructs that best support the business requirement.
• Strong understanding of contract and commercial law and sound understanding of contractual terms and conditions.
• Strong procurement, contract management and strategic supplier relationship management skills.
• Excellent negotiation skills, with experience in negotiating high value and complex multidiscipline contracts.
• High degree of commercial acumen, being able to understand complex commercial issues, and drive complex commercial negotiations to conclusion.

Hybrid working with some travel to suppliers, and visits to the office when required.
