Are you an ambitious procurement professional looking to make a significant impact in the construction and infrastructure sector? About the Role
As a procurement professional with expertise in construction and infrastructure, you'll play a crucial role in driving cost savings and enhancing operational efficiency across key projects. Your responsibilities will include:
- Supplier Selection and Management: Identify, evaluate, and onboard top-tier suppliers and subcontractors to ensure the highest standards of quality and value. You'll be responsible for managing supplier relationships, negotiating contracts, and overseeing performance to ensure the timely delivery of critical materials and services.
- Cost Optimization: Conduct in-depth analysis of procurement processes to uncover cost-saving opportunities. You'll negotiate more favorable terms, explore alternative sourcing options, and streamline purchasing processes to reduce costs without sacrificing quality.
- Risk Management: Proactively assess and mitigate risks within the supply chain. Your role will involve ensuring compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements, managing contract risks, and developing robust contingency plans to address potential supply disruptions.
- Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and refine procurement strategies and workflows. You'll implement best practices and leverage the latest technology to improve efficiency, reduce lead times, and ensure the successful delivery of projects.
