Indirect Strategic Procurement Manager - Public Sector

Salary: £50,000-60,000 + Attractive Benefits Package

Location: Hybrid - Milton Keynes (Office Attendance 1-2 times per week)

Are you an ambitious Procurement or Sourcing professional with a passion for driving impactful procurement strategies in the public sector?

We are currently partnered with a powerhouse in the UK Infrastructure industry, with a robust £Multi-Billion revenue stream, who for more than 20 years have been contributing significantly to the nation's growth and development across transport, engineering & civils.

Due to continued growth, they now have multiple opportunities for multiple Strategic Sourcing Manager's to come on board and lead high-profile sourcing projects in collaboration with a team of 30+ procurement professionals. In this role, you will oversee the procurement processes for various indirect services, including HR, Professional / Corporate Services, Facilities Management, Marketing, Training, Retail Property, Insurance, and Consultancy. It will be your responsibility to drive innovation and idea generation across complex spend categories, fostering a best-in-class culture and approach to procurement. Acting as a business partner to internal stakeholders, you will identify needs, deliver strategic plans, and navigate seamlessly through a cross-functional environment.

Required Experience:

  • Proven expertise in strategic sourcing and procurement, especially in dealing with indirect services, ideally in a public sector setting (or have an appetite to move into this space)
  • Strong negotiation and dispute resolution skills, coupled with solid contract management skills.
  • Familiarity with agile cross-functional collaborative working methods.
  • A demonstrated ability to influence at an executive level.

If you are a results-driven professional with a passion for strategic sourcing and procurement in both public and private sectors, apply now and contribute to the future success and growth of an already industry-recognised name.
