This is a recession proof role, with an established market leader, where previous Buying experience is essential.

• 32,500+
• Hexham
• Hybrid working (2 days at home)
• Full time and permanent

The role:-

• Buying raw materials
• Negotiating with suppliers
• Communicating with a range of stakeholders
• On the spot problem solving
• Internal influencing with a range of departments
• Networking both face to face and over the phone
• Using the IT system SAP

The Person:-

• Previous experience in Buying essential
• A natural networker
• Outgoing and confident personality
• Excellent communicator in a range of forms
• Superb negotiating skills
• Good telephone manner
• Thrives in a fast paced working environment
• Good SAP knowledge desirable
• French and or German speaker desirable but certainly not essential
