An exciting opportunity for an experienced scientist to join a prestigious, London-based laboratory as a Project Manager to ensure the successful delivery of a diverse portfolio of chemistry-based reference materials!
Liaising with multidisciplinary teams, subcontractors and distributors, you will be responsible for the management of the stability monitoring programme and their portfolio of new/replacement reference materials throughout the food, environmental, clinical and industrial sectors. Your background in analytical chemistry will help you succeed in this role, where you will be involved in the production of materials to replace stock, correct stock storage and relevant data analysis. This role is a predominantly office based position, however there may be the requirement to spend some time in the laboratory to support with sample prep activities.
Key responsibilities:
Management of the stability monitoring programme once the materials are on sale
Ensuring the correct storage, location and up-to-date information of the materials
Liaison with internal and external laboratory teams to ensure the correct resources are in place
Evaluation and interpretation of results to ensure materials remain stable
Data and documentation management
Essential experience:
A degree in chemistry (or similar)
Experience planning, delivery or managing technical project work
Experience working within an industry laboratory
Excellent planning and organisation skills
Ability to multi-task and work well in a multi-functional team
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Desirable experience:
Project management qualification e.g. PRINCE2
A good understanding of ISO/IEC 17025 and GLP
