Budgeting and Forecasting Accountant

Our client based in Crewe, a not for profit organisation, is looking for a Budgeting & Forecasting Accountant to join their team due to expansion. They are looking for someone to join on a permanent basis and can be newly qualified however, some commercial accounting experience is essential. They offer hybrid working with 2 days a week in the office.

The successful candidate will be an enthusiastic and confident individual who is flexible in tasks and responsive to business needs. You will need to be qualified in ACCA, CIMA or ACA and have excellent Excel Skills including V-look ups and Pivot tables. They are currently using Access Dimensions but will soon be moving over to Salesforce or Microsoft Dynamics.

Key responsibilities of the Budgeting and Forecasting Accountant are:

Production of quarterly forecasts for current asse classes and expanded asset classes

• Quarterly cash flow forecast analysis
• Ownership of forecast data in accounting system
• Production of 3 year business plan involving interaction with a wide group of stakeholders
• Production of half year reforecast and annual budget
• Submission of forecasts to HMT/UKGI
• Production of annual ICAAP
• Provide key inputs to into Annual Report and Accounts
