We are delighted to be partnering with this well-known British institution in the recruitment of a Head of Procurement, to manage and oversee all critical strategic procurement activity across the group.

We are recruiting on behalf of this well-regarded charitable organisation who is looking for experienced senior level procurement professionals, with public sector experience, to lead the procurement function in delivering the strategic sourcing agenda across a broad range of goods and services.

We are looking for individuals with Government, Education, Not for Profit or Charitable sector experience. A leader who has built and managed teams within a complex public sector organisation, with excellent knowledge of UK procurement legislation.

This is a great opportunity to work in an exciting industry, leading the implementation and continuous development of procurement strategy, leading the management of key supplier performance and developing best practice procurement techniques and tools.

Head of Procurement Knowledge & Experience:

• Demonstrable proven experience in a Procurement management position within a Not for Profit or complex public sector organisation. 

• Excellent knowledge of UK Procurement legislation. 

• Evidence of preparing contract documentation across a wide area of procurement activity. 

• Experience of making decisions with tact and diplomacy. 

• A proven track record of promoting and supporting diversity and inclusion. 

• Computer literate with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office. 

• Proven people management skills including experience of successful performance management, coaching and developing staff.

Our client has offices close to Oxford Street, London but operates a flexible hybrid working model.
