Our client, based in Trafford Park and Irlam, is urgently seeking a Traffic dispatcher to work across their two local, busy recycling centres. _ Immediate start available! _
The role is ongoing.
Hours are 8AM to 5:30PM, Monday to Friday, paying GBP11.06 hour.
BONUS: GBP250 upon completion of 4 week's work.
Responsible for (but not limited to):
Transport administration and filing duties
Liaising with customers to ensure operational requirements, KPI S and customer satisfaction is met and improved.
Driver contact throughout the day to ensure that timed deliveries are completed.
The Traffic office admin should have the following skills/experience:
Traffic management/planning experience required
Experience of people and health and safety management within a unionised and multi-shift environment.
Experience of first line operational management.
Experience of managing in a labour intensive, multi-shift environment.
Exceptional communication skill with the ability to communicate in writing, on a one to one basis and via the phone with all levels including management, team members and internal/external customers.
Ability to plan, organise and prioritise effectively.
Experience of working to strict deadlines in a time critical environment.
A willingness to adapt and develop skill-sets and knowledge which is determined by the role/business.
Computer literate - comfortable using business software and Microsoft Office Suite (specifically strong knowledge of Excel).
Minimum GCSE (or equivalent) in English and Maths.
