Warehouse & FLT Key Operative - Logistics

About The Role

As a Warehouse & FLT Operative you ll be absolutely key to the operation! You ll be supported and trained up to do a variety of warehouse tasks, such as bringing products in, picking stock, replenishing and putting away goods, and loading stock for despatch.

You ll work safely and carefully, with food and health and safety policies in mind every day, so that our products are looked after and arrive in the best condition at store ready for our customers.

We ll train you on a variety of tasks to make sure you re ready to provide top quality products our customers love.

Our warehouse is split into 5 key areas:

Fresh - where we store items such as meat, fish and dairy

Ambient - items that can be stored at room temperature, such as cupboard fillers like tea and coffee

Produce - including our fresh fruit and vegetables, and flowers

Freezer - frozen goods at temperatures of around minus 25 degrees. Full freezer quality protective clothing is provided.

Returns and Recycling - we recycle cardboard and plastics for all of the stores we serve. We even recycle rainwater on site!

About You

You don t need to have any warehouse experience - we ll provide all of the training and support that you need!

You ll be the kind of person who:

Loves working as part of a team

Enjoys working in a fast paced environment

Is happy in an active role and has a good level of fitness

Is able to work in varying temperatures of around 8 degrees to minus 25 degrees (we provide full protective clothing)

You take pride in completing tasks to the best of your ability
