Position: Assistant Buyer
Salary: GBP22,000 - GBP24,000
Location: Alfreton
Grafton Recruitment are working with an established, a global leading company who are recruiting for an experienced an AssistantBuyer.
As an Assistant Buyer will be to manage maintenance contracts across the customer base within the NHS, ensuring these contracts are delivered on time providing an excellent customer experience, providing essential procurement and administrative support to our specialist category procurement teams.
List of responsibilities as an Assistant Buyer:
- Work with the fastest growing medical device procurement organisation in the UK,
- Ensure organisational KPIs are achieved, including complaints resolution, service level issues, invoice queries and quality of data management submissions,
- Responding to customer queries.
- Create, review and follow processes to deal with maintenance customer evaluations
- Develop stakeholder engagement / plans across your customer base.
- Raise customer credits once received.
- Manage customer debt queries.
- Ensure that systems are updated with necessary information,
- Manage and prioritise a challenging workload,
- Collaborate with supplier base to ensure customer needs are met,
- Provide reports and management information, such as supplier performance reports, to support supplier meetings and business decisions,
- Manipulate data and extract relevant trends and information,
- Follow and review established processes to ensure compliance and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Ensure customer novation processes are followed.
- Work with the Customer Facing Team (CFT) to chase in orders from customers.
- Ensure all standard operating procedures are followed.
The Ideal Candidate for the Assistant Buyer position will have:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills,
- Procurement background,
- Great eye for attention to detail
- Able to work to tight deadlines
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to develop relationships with colleagues, customers and suppliers
- Stakeholder management experience
- IT literate and proficient in MS Office applications, including Excel at an intermediate level,
- Have great organisational and time management skills
