TRANSPORT PLANNER- FREIGHT - SHIFT WORK

NEW POSITION: We are recruiting for a niche, specialist freight forwarder based locally to Feltham.

Duties will include:

• Planning drivers routes
• Providing quotations to customers
• Briefing drivers
• Ensuring drivers complete daily vehicle checks, PODS and general admin
• Ensuring all documents are completed and correct with each consignment
• Dealing with Penalty/ speeding tickets/ insurance claims
• Processing daily reports on shipments
• Liaising with the customers service and operations teams

Experience/ Skills needed:

• Previous experience within a similar role
• Previous freight forwarding experience
• Route planning experience
• Good knowledge of driving law/ regulations
• PC literate
• Good customer service skills

Working hours :

• Monday- Friday 8hour shift working between 0
