EMEA DEMAND PLANNER

WELLINGBOROUGH

We are seeking a highly motivated individual with a strong commercial mind-set who is seeking to develop a career in an international environment to join our Demand Planning team in Wellingborough. What you ll do - As a Demand Planner you are responsible for:

  • Building, managing and maintaining excellent relations with both internal and external stakeholders and customers while driving collaboration and maintain high business performance. Demand Planning is the integration point into the sales and commercial organisation.
  • Providing sales and country-based forecast to drive the business planning to ensure delivery of sales plans, customer services, cost and inventory, utilizing all available intelligence from the marketplace to analyse and recommend actions where forecast and inventories are out of balance.
  • Participating fully in the EMEA S&OP (Sales and Operations Planning) process owning the forecasted demand for your responsible markets while identifying opportunities to improve KPIs and improving the EMEA Supply Chain process and systems.

What you ll need:

  • Excellent analytical and communication skills with an ability to produce and interpret data that can be communicated effectively and persuasively to stakeholders.
  • 1 to 3 years of experience as a Demand Planner preferable. Demonstrate a knowledge of S&OP and the demand planning process.
  • Degree educated (or equivalent) in a related discipline or on the job training equivalent.
  • Ability to identify historical sales trends, research demand drivers, prepare forecast data, and evaluate forecast results, with an understanding of their financial and operational impacts.
  • Ability to drive ongoing continuous improvement within the planning process.
  • Strong time management and organisational skills.
  • Experience working on supply systems, ERP, MRP and DRP essential.
  • You must have advance Excel skills (Inc. Pivot Tables & V-look Ups).
  • Experience within the fast-moving market, preferably one in internet technology or consumer goods market in Europe.
  • You are assertive with excellent influencing skills - and have experience in developing effective relationships with sales and product management teams.
  • You are flexible and looking for an exciting, fast-paced challenge that will give you exposure to the entire supply chain.
  • Business Level proficiency in English required; other languages are a bonus.
  • You must have valid permission to work in the UK.
  • Work outside of normal office hours or unsociable hours my be required from time to time in order to undertake role duties.
  • Some business travel may be required.
