Technology Procurement Category Specialist- Global Law Firm - £55-60K + Package - London Based

A unique opportunity to develop and drive a recently established in-house Global Procurement function within one of the leading global law firms. The successful candidate will build relationships, whilst delivering strategic value within the end to end Procurement process. This Greenfield procurement function presents a great chance for personal development, and to make an impact on a leading law firm as a whole.
The successful candidate will autonomously manage a number of technology procurement projects, whilst directly influencing strategic and commercial decisions related to the broader procurement function. The early development stage of the procurement function offers potential for huge proactive engagement within the business. You will build and establish successful relationships with stakeholders across multiple levels of the company.
You will report to and support the global category managers, ensuring a successful procurement strategy plan is implemented. The successful will have an innovative and motivated approach in order to drive continuous improvement across the supplier base in order to deliver a tangible service.

Procurement Category Specialist Key Skills

  • Proven Specialist experience within Indirect Procurement- including multiple sub categories- included but not limited to Software, Telecoms and IT Professional Services
  • Experience of managing end-to-end procurement and supplier management
  • Commercial Demonstratable experience- within a strategic procurement team is beneficial- alongside a understanding of internal accounting practices
  • Procurement analytical understanding- ability to bring insight and interpret information
  • Proficient in Procurement Contract Drafting
  • CIPS membership is desirable but not essential
