Assistant Category Buyer
Our client is a growing (already global) retailer, who has previously expanded from online to instore. They now have stores which are based throughout the UK/ Europe. Within this role you would be responsible for
- Assisting the Category Manager in preparing / implementing the Commercial Plan for the Category
- Analyse promotions, sales and profit targets
- Liaising with stakeholders in the UK and abroad in order to build and maintain a strong relationships
- Review monthly performance on suppliers, brands, SKU s, sales and margin etc
- Support research about products and market trends
Previous experience
- Excellent analytical / excel skills - good attention to detail with problem solving skills
- Proven communication / relationship building skills
- Experience within a similar role such as Category Planner, Buying Assistant, Junior Buyer etc.
