An exciting industry based 2-year collaborative partnership between Anglia Ruskin University and Hexcel Composites Ltd leading on delivering a supply chain sustainability toolkit via the UK Government sponsored Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP).  

About Hexcel:

Hexcel is a global leader in manufacturing advanced composite materials for the commercial aerospace, space and defence and industrial markets. They are a leading producer of carbon fibre reinforcements and resin systems, and the world leader in honeycomb manufacturing for the commercial aerospace industry. 

About the role:

You will design, develop and implement an innovative supply chain sustainability toolkit and sustainable packaging solutions in line with Hexcel Composites Ltd customer requirements. You will develop a live dashboard to enhance capability to monitor, measure and reduce environmental impacts and facilitate future decision making within Hexcel Composites Ltd, and across their supply chain. The role will be critical in managing data collection and governance processes of environmental sustainability reporting metrics, ensuring high reporting capabilities to different levels of company leadership, and identifying/rolling out sustainable approaches across downstream supply chain.

Qualification

You will have a degree in Environmental Management, Supply Chain or Computer Science.

Application requirements

  • Data management and reporting experience,
  • Strong data analytics,
  • Power BI or SQL experience
  • Environmental metrics and lifecycle assessment of environmental impacts.
  • Knowledge of sustainable supply chain management
  • Knowledge of logistics, warehousing and packaging,
