Global Financial Services company who offers a full range of investment banking, Fixed Income, equities, asset and wealth management products and services requires an experienced IT Inventory & Stock Control Manager.

This position requires an individual who is motivated, energetic, and looking for a challenging environment. The applicant should have excellent organizational, communication, personality, and presentation skills. The Applicant should be experienced in managing daily inventory, receiving, and resolving all types of reconciliation issues as part of the technology equipment purchasing and procurement life cycle.

The successful IT Inventory & Stock Control Manager candidate will:

  • Ideally possess a strong and proven background in managing and tracking IT Inventory.
  • Have excellent organizational, communication, personality, and presentation skills.
  • Participate in meetings with IT Management to discuss various topics including issues, projects, and strategy.
  • Make recommendations on tracking inventory utilising the company's existing platforms.
  • Implement and manage processes ensuring the efficient use of inventory.

Responsibilities for the IT Inventory & Stock Control Manager include:

  • Managing inventory both on-site and in Reseller warehousing facilities.
  • Reconciling Orders, PO's and inventory in PeopleSoft Financials.
  • Tracking and recording deliveries, shipments, and stock levels.
  • Managing and coordinating the shipping of IT equipment and accessories to the organisation's office locations and Work-From-Home employees.
  • Evaluates deliveries, shipments, and product levels to improve inventory control procedures.
  • Analyses daily product and supply levels to anticipate inventory problems and shortages.
  • Monitors demand and analyses data to anticipate future supply and logistical needs.
  • Prepare detailed reports on inventory operations, stock levels, and adjustments.
  • Responsible for unloading new supplies and storing them appropriately.

Other responsibilities for the IT Inventory & Stock Control Manager position:

  • Reorganizes stock room to accommodate additional inventory.
  • Ensures that stock room is well organized and that all stored items are accounted for.
  • Evaluate new inventory to ensure it's ready for shipment.
  • Perform daily analysis to predict potential inventory problems.
  • Replenish inventory to avoid inefficiencies or excessive surplus.
  • Handle the receipt and return of inventory from vendors and working with the mailroom to coordinate deliveries.
  • Addresses and resolves discrepancies in inventory and purchasing reports.

Qualifications & Skills required for the IT Inventory & Stock Control Manager position:

  • Excellent communication, personality and presentation skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills required.
  • Must have excellent decision-making and organizational skills, detail oriented, and the ability to work independently on assigned tasks.
  • Willing to work off hours and weekends as needed.
