Commercial Manager

ORB Executives are delighted to bring this new and exclusive position to the market. Due to continued growth and development within the organisation, we are currently looking to recruit a new Commercial Manager based out of the Sheffield Head Office.

This leadership position will be working with the country commercial teams and country managers to help develop and drive the implementation of commercial improvement projects and best practices which support sales efforts and improve margins.

Ideally, we are looking for candidates that have a strong commercial background in either construction products/materials or a similar industry.

Main Responsibilities:

Develop and drive Commercial Excellence and support the implementation with country sales teams
Communicate business cases and agree targets with Regional leadership for commercial projects
Work with local commercial teams to ensure that commercial project targets are communicated and results are achieved and communicated
Contribute to the development of customer segmentation and pricing structure
Work with country commercial management to ensure there are measures of pricing management and control
Support the sales team to drive the business growth and proactively analyse variances versus budget and sales history
Experience:

Commercial experience essential, either customer facing or in a similar role
A good understanding of pricing methodologies
An understanding of the sales processes of construction products businesses
Excellent communication skills, comfortable with presenting business cases to senior
Excellent collaboration skills - capable of working with cross-functional teams and proven ability to manage workflows with multiple stakeholders in an effective manner
Strong analytical skills - experience of using BI software for data analysis and knowledge of Microsoft PowerBI is preferred
Fluent English with ability to work across different cultures.
