Route 1 is looking to recruit an experienced Supply Chain Customer Service Assistant for our client based in Leeds.

This is going to be a 9-12-month maternity cover contract. Working hours will be pro rata - 8am - 4.30pm & 8.30am - 5pm. There is a 60-minute unpaid break.

Training will be provided & you will need to be onsite for this. Once the training is completed it will be hybrid (1 day a week in office, 4 days working from home, however may be asked to do additional days)

The main day to day duties will include but are not limited to

Receive order confirmation from supplier

Email customer delivery dates & any stock issues

Chase status on a daily basis from spreadsheet

Chase with supplier any overdue dates from spreadsheet

Point of call for reps chasing orders & checking stock

Price query/stock enquiries from customer

Tie up & scan in stock when delivery note is received

Invoice orders

The ideal candidate will have knowledge of stock control, league times, strong customer service skills, both oral & written. Excellent knowledge of Excel. Strong administration skills.

Pay depending on experience between GBP22-GBP24k approx.
