This is an excellent opportunity to join this Global Leader in Consumer Electronics as PC Category Manager, you would be responsible for the creation & implementation of the European PC Category strategy and management of the full product lifecycle. The PC portfolio currently consists of Notebooks, you will be responsible for the main Category Activities, which include:

Business Insight - conducting business reviews of our European subsidiaries to understanding and implementing a profitable business plan, the Category Manager has a multifaceted scope of activity to provide Business Insight to subsidiaries & European Management teams to develop the PC category: Understanding & run the sales & profit indicators in association with Category Heading

2. Consumer Expert- You will need to have a detailed understanding of the PC consume, this is vital to ensure that our current and near future products are positioned to the target consumer group, marketing messages are clear and the channel segmentation is accurate., You will review quantitative and qualitative consumer insight from across Europe, share the best practice and insight to subsidiaries and European Management Team, developing the value proposition of the PC category & individual products, undertake regular positioning reviews of PC products - right consumer, right price, right message, right place and have a good understanding of the consumer journey and provide insight to consumer needs during each stage to marketing & colleagues

3. Market Insight Provide an understanding of what is happening right now in the PC market and category expectations for the future. Understand & predict competitor activity within the market, taking actions to counter where needed, qualify market size & market opportunities for new products and be the "Go-To" product expert for the PC category for European account managers and other colleagues, providing assistance in long-term forecasting, handling to the Go To Market strategy for an imminent product launch to long range New Product / Service Development with global colleagues, clearly handling conflicting priorities.

You will need to demonstrate the ability of handling a product category with P&L responsibility and the skills to influence at a senior level as well as work with a range of partners and international colleagues
