How do you fancy working for a leading consultancy business, delivering strategic procurement advice and services to major Blue Chip clients?  Want variety in your work and clearly defined career development/progression routes?  Well if you've got experinece of OJEU and stardised contracts such as NEC and JCT then this could be just what you're looking for...

What's on offer?

  • Base salary of £65,000 to £75,000
  • £4,000 car allowance
  • Contributory Pension
  • 25 days holiday
  • Hybrid working (up to 3 days a week from home)

What will you be doing?

Working with an outstanding team of specialist consultants, you'll advise major Public & Private sector clients on large scale / flagship projects, delivering best-in-class strategic procurement and contract advice, including contract strategy development, contract drafting and award, supplier evaluation, commercial modelling, claims management and dispute resolution and full end-to-end procurement services.  The majority of the projects you'll be working on will have a construction bias, be that full physical build, infrastructure, HVAC, FM and everything in between.  As well as providing the defined procurement services for your particular client, you'll also be expected to support the wider business on bid preparation and proposal documentation to help the continued growth of the organisation.

Who will you be doing it for?

You'll be joining a long established, yet rapidly growing, consultancy business that operates across Infrastructure, Natural Resources and Real Estate sectors around the world.  They offer you the opportunity to work from some outstanding facilities and with some of the most high profile blue chip brands in the world, as well as develop your career and travel globally with them if that's your thing.

What do you need to bring to the party?

To be successful in this role it's expected that you'll be able to demonstrate the majority (after all none of us are perfect!) of the following skills and experience:

  • Strategic procurement & supply chain experience.  Ideally this will have been gained across different sectors and will include a strong public procurement background, with the ability to lead and develop key strategy and/or documentation that complies with OJEU regulations
  • Excellent experience of various forms of contracts with particular focus on NEC and JCT
  • A strong background in tender preparation and development
  • Outstanding communicator, able to build rapport quickly and easily and influence at all levels of a business
  • MCIPS or equivalent would be advantageous, as would any degree relating to quantity surveying, law or procurement

If the above sounds like the next step in your already successful career, and you’d like to learn more, apply today with a copy of your CV, LinkedIn profile or whatever you have for immediate consideration – every application is reviewed by a person, and everyone will get a response, it’s the least you deserve.
