We are looking for a Business Analyst to join our team to assist in supporting multiple ongoing initiatives for our supply chain and operations systems. Ideal candidates will have a successful and proven track record in business and functional analysis with a focus on ERP Supply Chain, Order Management and Order Fulfillment. This individual will possess strong organizational and troubleshooting skills as well as refined interpersonal verbal and written communication skills - with experience in applying these skills in both technical and non-technical forums. The Business Systems Analyst will support the implementation and continuous enhancement efforts of the Oracle Fusion platform by working with Business leads, product management, project management, project stakeholders, and technical staff to analyze and build clear requirements, identify gaps and areas of improvement, enhance project documentation, and drive projects from initiation through completion.
Responsibilities
Elicit, capture, analyze, refine, articulate and document business requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria based on input from business users and subject matter experts.
Facilitate and conduct meetings while asking questions and soliciting feedback, presenting and capturing notes/requirements in various software applications/tools.
Participates in the selection of any software solutions that the organization may opt to use.
Analyzes and verifies requirements for completeness, consistency, comprehensibility, feasibility, and conformity to standards.
Translates conceptual customer requirements into functional requirements in a clear manner that is comprehensible to developers/project team.
Review existing processes/systems to make recommendations on process improvements and achieve consensus and support from the diverse groups within IT and the business to implement the defined processes.
Develop metrics and measures to provide analysis that will assist management in improving key processes and deliverables.
Create user stories, acceptance criteria, design documentation, process flows and wireframes in order to clearly communicate a set of functional requirements.
Synthesize complex information into concise, readable, unambiguous language.
Define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.Build solid domain knowledge and deep understanding of current system functionality.
Anticipate positive and negative impacts to other areas of the platform, organization, etc.
Apply solid understanding of software development lifecycle, iterative software development and Agile development processes.Demonstrate interpersonal and leadership skills required to interact with staff, colleagues, management and internal/external customers.
Be proactive and take initiative with little or vague directions at times to include desire to solve problems and be resourceful in seeking answers.
Qualifications Required
Three to five years related work experience
Able to exercise independent judgment and take action on it
Excellent analytical, mathematical, and creative problem-solving skills
Excellent listening, interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
Logical and efficient, with keen attention to detail
Highly self-motivated and directed
Ability to effectively prioritize, organize, execute, and track tasks while under pressure
Strong customer service orientation
Oracle Fusion Order Processing, Order Management, Purchasing, Inventory, Manufacturing modules experience
Experience working in a global, team-oriented, collaborative environment
Preferred
College diploma or university degree in the field of business administration or information systems
Proven experience with business and technical requirements analysis, elicitation, modeling, verification, and methodology development
Data Migration experience
Agile/Scrum experience
Working knowledge of JIRA
Project management experience
