This dedicated procurement function are undergoing a period of expansion, and as such are seeking a skilled procurement professional to join them as they undertake a multitude of long-term projects with the long term goal of both value adding and cost saving.

As this firm expand, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to be a vital player in an array of projects spanning across the utilities industry, working with procurement professionals at all levels; this role will expose the successful candidate to excellent opportunities for both personal and professional growth.

Procurement Specialist Role Involves:

• Creating effective and lasting cross functional relationships with both internal and external stakeholders, at all levels, throughout the business.
• Developing complex category strategies with the end goal of both adding value and cost reduction.
• Working as part of a larger, dedicated, procurement function, to drive procurement best practice, across vital areas of spend for the business.

Procurement Specialist Role Requirements:

• A proven track record of facilitating both cost reduction and value adding initiatives
• Experience working within procurement functions, across any category, including the development and implementation of category strategies.
• Experience working within the utilities industry is desired but not essential.
• Degree is required.
