This Global FMCG are seeking a Junior Buyer to join their Packaging Procurement Team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for anyone with an interest in packaging, looking to start their career in procurement.

This role provides the opportunity to learn and develop your skills, and showcase your analytical ability in a fast paced and customer orientated role, in an environment surrounded by procurement professionals at the top of their fields.

The Junior Packaging Buyer role will see the successful candidate supporting the wider procurement function with an aim of both cost saving and value adding across the board.

Junior Packaging Buyer Role Involves:

• Supporting the packaging procurement team and packaging procurement manager in implementing sourcing strategies across the packaging procurement category.
• Collaboratively working with different functions across the business to ensure the optimal performance of the packaging category and related sub categories.
• Assisting in the delivery of key initiatives across the entire procurement function.

Junior Packaging Buyer Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, demonstrating an ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels both internally and externally within the company.
• The successful candidate must have a strong interest in both buying and procurement, and the desire to develop their career in these areas.
• The ability to work across the Microsoft suite with competency and confidence.
• Procurement experience is not a prerequisite is a benefit.
