Role: Remote Based Sustainability Procurement Manager
Firm: Leading Green Energy Company
Package: £55,000 + 10% Flexible Cash + 5% Pension
Location: Remote Based with 2 trips into their London office monthly

My client is a leading sustainability company, based in their state of the art London HQ, offering you a role which is remote based with occasional travel into their office. You will be joining a new and exciting sustainability procurement team, continually striving towards their goal of achieving net zero carbon emissions to the 850,000 homes they serve across the UK.

Developing various category areas with a main focus on sustainability, you will be creating a comprehensive function in a market leader that has flourished in recent years. Maintaining and develop relationships with key stakeholders to drive this function even further.

Driving commercial relationships, you will be a vital facet of an emerging function in the industry providing sustainable solutions to the nation, giving added value to your role where you will play a huge role in driving the business and green energy in the country.

The team you will be joining is a new and exciting venture and is backed by the companies award winning progression program who promote exploration of new avenues to improve the existing procurement function. Your endeavor will be rewarded with access to industry leading technology and systems to ensure your ideas and ambitions are met in the role.

To conduct this role you will:

  • Negotiate large contracts, developing rapport and long lasting, sustainable solutions for years to come, working towards the companies' net zero goal
  • Have a proven track record of sustainability processes in your previous roles
  • Possess or be working towards MCIPS is desired
  • Have a comprehensive knowledge of procurement systems and processes with a drive to work end-to-end to implement your ideas
