The Company
A well established and global leader, with manufacturing sites all over the world are looking to expand their workforce.
The Role
My client is looking for a Buyer to be responsible for the purchasing and procurement of electronic components and equipment.
The responsibilities are listed below:
1. Negotiation with suppliers to ensure "best deal" for the organisation is always secured
2. Ensure all processes & activities are conducted according to the Management Systems:
3. Adhering and working to ISO standards for quality
4. Ensure a continuous "cost reduction" programme is in place
5. To identify worldwide new sources, new products and new processes that can be used to enhance the current product and/or product range.
6. New purchasing solution ideas
The Candidate
1. Must have proven experience in purchasing of electronic/electro-mechanical products
2. Ideally have a purchasing/procurement qualification
3. Experience with high cost/low volume production
The Package
The salary offered for this position is GBP35,000 - GBP45,000 depending on experience
