The role sits within the Procurement Team & will be based in Manchester or Cardiff offices but operating on a hybrid model. The role reports to the Procurement Manager (IT) & is responsible for supporting the implementation adherence to the procurement strategy. This role works closely with finance, legal, key business stakeholders & suppliers.

Description

??Developing and renewing contracts with new and existing suppliers ensuring that they incorporate company policies, including IT Security, legal, risk and compliance.

??Esure, where required, information is shared on a group-wide basis and take the 'Lead Buyer' responsibility for IT category driven projects.

??Leading the RFx process for agreed IT across the organisation.

??In conjunction with the Procurement Manager, business stakeholders, CTO Heads of IT and Project Managers evaluate and confirm supplier selection(s).

??Negotiate commercial arrangements and IT agreements with selected suppliers with a view to securing best value for the Bank and contributing to the Procurement savings target.

??Advise SRO's and business stakeholders on the process to procure goods and services and effective supplier management.

??Support the Procurement Manager in the delivery and execution of the IT procurement strategy.

??Working with the Procurement Manager on market and financial analysis to create an IT procurement category strategy that is aligned to business requirements.

Profile

??Experience of working in Procurement and managing IT Category spend and suppliers

??Strong interpersonal, relationship and team building skills

??Strong negotiation and influencing skills

??Proficiency in using procurement related IT tools and systems

??Excellent communication skills, including strong presentation skills at all levels of the organisation.

??Analytical skills to evaluate needs/opportunities, with a strong process oriented work ethic.

Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities concurrently in order to achieve set objectives through logical approach and technique
Experience and proficiency in drafting and negotiating contracts
Willingness to work across categories as and when required
Good working knowledge of Cloud Job Offer
