Multi Billion Pound FMCG Subsidiary, Globally Known Fashion Retailer

Location - Hybrid working, 2 days in Reading Office

Salary - £60,000 - £68,000 + 15% target based bonus

This Multi Billion Pound FMCG firm is looking for its next IT procurement manager for its high worth subsidiary fashion retailer. Although the position is for an IT procurement manager, if you are a quality Indirect Procurement Generalist with knowledge of IT procurement, then this could be an excellent fit. This fast paced position will have you working as a key player in IT transformation projects and as such, you will provide professional advice to your internal business stakeholders and subject matter expertise in relation to sourcing projects for hardware, software, IT professional services, telecoms, IT infrastructure and other applied areas.

As IT Procurement Manager your key responsibilities will involve:

  • Work with large IT related vendors, handling end to end contract negotiation and contract management to attain favorable deals for the company
  • Help coordinate and implement strategic sourcing processes for all IT spend areas such as hardware, software, telecoms.
  • Assist in deciphering complex data and simplify it for conversion into reports on the IT market creating potential cost saving opportunities for the business
  • Working with and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and IT business partners for the firm

To be successful as the IT Procurement Manager will require the following attributes:

  • Contain vast knowledge of IT procurement, with ambition to further develop your skillset and knowledge.
  • Have an established track record of negotiation and closing deals which further add savings, in addition making savings on cost with IT
  • Pre-existing relationships with major global vendors in the IT sector
  • Proven subject matter expertise in procurement gained within another major corporate organization
  • Flexibility to commute to offices and vendor sites with possibility of international travel when required.
  • Ability to control multiple projects at various stages ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery
