busy IT procurement team where you will be given opportunities to work with stakeholders across the group and is looking to implement a new business strategy that has a large focus on new technology offerings?

The role of IT Buyer is really important to our client. You will working with internal stakeholders to scoop out requirements, liaising with existing suppliers and identifying new suppliers to meet our changing business needs and meet our policies, including IT Security, legal, risk and compliance

This role can be based in the Reading, Manchester or Cardiff offices however, you will be able to work a blend of both home and office each week. You'll be made to feel part of your new team by your Line Manager, and colleagues through regular contact and virtual interaction.

What would your day look like?

Leading the "request for (RFx)" process for agreed IT across the organisation.
Negotiate commercial arrangements and IT agreements with selected suppliers with a view to securing best value for the Bank and contributing to the Procurement savings target.
Advise senior responsible owner SROs) and business stakeholders on the process to procure goods and services and effective supplier management.

What do we expect of you?

Demonstrate significant experience leading technology procurement (covering software, hardware, networks and IT services) from requirement gathering through to purchase
Managed multiple requests for proposal (RfP) end to end processes.
Regularly reviewed contracts or statements of work and highlighted areas of concern / to be reviewed and liaised with legal teams to clarify agreements.
