As a Senior Buyer - IT you will work within one of the category areas, doing a range of procurement activity such as sourcing, supplier management, and stakeholder engagement.

Senior Buyer - IT
Develop basic sourcing strategies, including identifying risks, key outputs and deliverables within your category (could be software, hardware, IT services, telecoms/networks)
Lead sourcing and negotiation for low to medium spend new agreements or renewals
Support Category Leads/Category Managers where needed
Ensure purchase requests meet required standards
Stakeholder managementProfile
Experience in procuring in one (or more) of the following areas of IT procurement: Software, Hardware (Servers, Routers, Switches, Mainframes, Storage), Telecoms, IT Professional Services, or Networks
Experience of adding value/making savings in previous roles
Able to communicate well with others, both internally and externally
Ability to understand the importance of, and abide by process within a regulated environmentJob Offer
Salary of GBP55k
