Senior Buyer

Due to continued growth for the specialist manufacturing business who supply to their well-established customers, there is now an exciting opportunity for an individual who has a passion for purchasing to join the team.

Within the role of Senior Buyer, typical responsibilities will be to: -

Order materials to meet production demands.
Build strong relationships with suppliers.
Ensure strong supplier communications.
Monitor KPI's, highlighting any risk to supply.
Support planning functions to ensure correct levels of safety stocks are accurate and maintained.
Maintain supplier data and ensure information is accurate and up to date.The successful candidate will: -

Have experienced gained in a fast-paced manufacturing.
Be experienced purchasing raw materials.
Have strong MS Office skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Have the ability to multi-task and prioritise.
Ideally have CIPS or be willing to studyOn offer: -

Salary to GBP40,000
Monday to Friday office-based role
25 days holiday plus 8 bank holidays
