Senior Buyer - Engineering Services
This specialist manufacturing facility with four sites across the UK, are currently looking to attract into their Engineering Services Team a Senior Buyer who will be based in Runcorn.
Within the role of Senior Buyer, typical responsibilities will be to: -
Manage purchasing activity across engineering services for a circa GBP30m spend.
Manage all contractor and supplier relationships.
Deliver a cost-effective service to the business.
Work with suppliers and engineers to develop accurate specifications for equipment, contractor services and materials.The successful candidate will: -
Enjoy managing and engaging a team of two Buyers and a Purchasing Administrator.
Have purchasing experience gained within an engineering or manufacturing environment.
Be results orientated and will focus on delivery, quality and cost.
Have experience of managing suppliers with individual contractual terms.
Strong interpersonal skills.On offer: -
Salary to GBP50,000
26 days holiday plus 8 bank holidays
Option to purchase extra holidays
