SALARY: GBP29,000 - GBP35,000 or more depending on experience

HOURS: Full time, Monday - Friday

JR Personnel are an employment agency acting on behalf of a client who is looking for an experienced Demand Planner.

The Opportunity:

A position has become available to work in a very successful company where you will be responsible for leading the demand planning process for the product line. You will be managing forecasts using specialised software and working alongside the commercial part of the business.

Role profile:

* Lead initiatives to align commercial functions

* Add market intelligence to the statistical forecasts

* Validate and promote data quality

* Report on exemptions to demand

* Report potential sales trends

* Recommend actions based on investigations

* Analyse data

* Collaborate with the supply chains to ensure the output of demand reviews are considered when implementing replenishments of supply

* Ensure timely completion of agreed daily work load in line with KPI's

* Ad hoc project work

Person profile:

* Degree educated

* 3-5 years of demand planning experience

* SAP knowledge ideally

* Ability to work across countries and departments

* Excellent attention to detail - high accuracy levels are required at all times.

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills - the candidate should be able to understand issues and convey accurate information.

* Good time management & organisational skills - the ability to complete tasks in a timely manner and to a deadline.

Essential criteria:

* Proficient in Microsoft Office - intermediate knowledge of Excel is preferable, although training could be provided to the right candidate.

Desired criteria:

* Manufacturing or engineering industry experience
