Title: Indirect Procurement Specialist
Firm: FTSE 100, Global Professional Services
Location: London or Manchester - Hybrid working
Salary: £50 - 55,000 + package
This global professional services, ranked in the FTSE 100 are looking for an Indirect Procurement Specialist to join either of their offices in London or Manchester. The offices are state of the art based in the heart of both cities. You would join this global in-house procurement function, introduce the best practices processes, procedures and deliver end-to-end strategic value.
Reporting directly into the Procurement Category Manager you will have great exposure to new skills and experience within the technology category, to progress you, individually further. You will work a lot with sourcing strategies that will hopefully, drive efficiency and effectiveness within the IT supply chain - while looking at weakness and flaws within the supply chain and finding cost saving business solutions with these.
Other than a heavy focus on strategic sourcing you will work a lot of relationship management, where you will ask as a trusted advisor to functional leaders within the business and provide suppliers endless support. Additionally, you will work on risk management, through heavy negotiations on robust contracts and service level agreements.
To be successful in this role..you must portray..
- Good level of experience and understanding in strategic souring!
- Worked closely with stakeholders, and suppliers and show times where this became a challenge and you had to overcome it.
- Have a proven ability to identify risks.
- Desirably completed MCIPS or CIPS.
