About the role:

We are currently seeking a Category Lead to lead on the procurement of goods and services within the businesses corporate and Housing Operations Directorate, acting as an expert adviser, creating a pipeline of procurement activity and delivering significant financial and efficiency savings for the Group. Working as a business partner and expert, this role will collaborate with stakeholders within the Corporate and Housing Operations Directorates to develop and implement sourcing strategies to ensure that all goods, works and services are procured to the appropriate quality, required service level and best value.

About you:

The successful candidate must have great communication skills. Significant and extensive procurement experience, ideally gained within corporate and facilities management industries. A practical knowledge of OJEU (PCR 2015) would be preferable, either through work experience or qualification. You will have the relevant experience and qualifications from a procurement or contract management role within the public sector.
