My client, a busy local authority in the South East of England are recruiting for a Contracts Manager / Officer to join them on an initial 3 month contract with the likelihood of an extension.
The successful candidate will work with other Contracts Officers in the team to take lead responsibility for the services' externally commissioned contracts. You will be responsible for the management of key contracts allocated within the team, including budgetary control, development of delivery plans, and analysing contract performance to ensure continuous improvement including providing efficiencies and best value for the Council.
Desired skills:
- Sound knowledge of building services, contract management and specialist work areas.
- Strong knowledge of performance monitoring systems
- Sound understanding of commissioning processes and practices.
- Sound understanding of compliance with statutory landlord obligations.
Interviews will be held over Teams with the intention of getting you started immediately.
Rate: Negotiable
Start Date: ASAP
Length: 3 months
