Purchasing Compliance Manager

Brand new opportunity as Purchasing Compliance Manager for this Global Financial Services organisation who are forming a brand-new Shared Service Centre in their prestigious Sussex offices…

The Purchasing Compliance Manager will be responsible for leading the Purchasing and Supplier team - ensuring the supply chain risk profile is assessed, monitored and reviewed and leveraging appropriate buying channels to control and deliver best value through the supply chain.

You should have experience of working with procurement/sourcing functions and establishing appropriate buying channels for goods and service.  You will also have a solid understanding of the evolving due diligence expectations of managing risk in the supply chain, considering the different types of assessment and the risk that organisations face.

Experience and knowledge required:

• Contract review and data capture to enable reporting and oversight to Board level.

• Extensive experience of managing third party relationships in a financial services / regulated environment.

• Experience of leading supplier management and oversight delivery in a regulated environment, including setting the strategy, developing a roadmap and executing against it.

• Demonstrable experience operating in a commercially focussed / strategic procurement team.

• Demonstrable experience of designing, owning and implementing a supplier management and oversight framework.

• Experience of leading procurement operations meeting service level and effective KPI reporting.

• Ability to consider wider business strategy and align functional strategy accordingly.

• Ability and experience coordinating due diligence activities across technical specialists (e.g. Operational Risk, Information Security, Credit Risk, Financial Crime, Legal) globally.
