Our client who are a well-established professional services firm are in the market to recruit a Category Specialist within the HR & Professional Services space. The role which will be part home and office-based will require the incumbent to have come from or have previous experience within HR/ Professional Services or Generalist Categories.
Roles and responsibilities:
- Building strong rapport with stakeholders and suppliers during the procurement and service delivery stage
- Manage all procurement activity which includes 3rd party spending within the specific category
- Taking full ownership of all projects as required
- Conduct supplier negotiations for contract and supplier agreements
- Maintain supplier performance reviews
Experience required:
- Previous experience within indirect procurement with the ability to cover multiple subcategories.
- Experience in managing end to end procurement and supplier management.
- Excellent negotiations and contract tendering.
- Excellent IT and numeracy skills.
- CIPS qualification is desirable.
