London – Remote  

£40-£75,000 + up to 20% bonus, 25 days holidays

We have multiple opportunities with the one of the UK’s leading procurement consultancies who is looking for outstanding individuals to work on major consulting projects across defence, retail, manufacturing and infrastructure. Successful applicants will join consulting teams working with clients throughout the UK and abroad. They are looking for individuals who have the potential to progress to leadership roles within their firm. Selected candidates will be able to demonstrate outstanding ability in analysing complex problems, work closely and productively with a range of client staff from different functions and develop and implement effective solutions.

What the role involves

Managing a multi-million pound spends across a broad range of industries and categories.

Shaping and executing a range of sourcing strategies and collaborating with key internal stakeholders in the business

Have the chance to interact with the wider Procurement exec team in making critical commercial decisions as part of the short, medium- and long-term strategy of the business and be empowered to make these decisions.

The person we hope to find

Experienced procurement professionals who previously or currently hold SC clearance or and have worked in defence. (Defence)

Mid to Senior Procurement professionals who have experience across either indirects and or IT in the manufacturing, retail, Health, public, or defence sector.

Proven experience of managing stakeholders and being able to make key strategic decisions educating the client on best practice procurement.

Degree educated or equivalent would be preferable but not essential

Be able to identify and implement negotiation strategies through a multi-function team
