M&E Buyer required on a permanent basis in Central London.
Our client, who is a leading MEP Sub contractor are currently looking for a M&E Buyer to join their energetic Procurement team in Central London. The company specialises in fast-track fit out offering Mechanical and Electrical services, working a lot on various Shell & Core, Category A , Category B, New builds and refurbishment projects. The sectors they cover range from; Public sector, high end residential, commercial, healthcare and educational.
The company has shown a steady growth over the last 5 years and with a healthy order book for 2022 this would be an excellent opportunity to join such an established company.
The buyer will have previous experience in a M & E Contracting or Consultancy business dealing within the commercial or residential sector.
Role/Responsibilities:
Negotiating long term and short term contracts
Negotiating prices for services or products
Liaising with the buying team
Building relationships
Researching and evaluating products
The ideal candidate:
Previous Buying experience
M&E knowledge - mechanical bias is beneficial
