Experienced buyer needed to join a Delicious Nutritious Dog Food company, Made by Chefs!

What will be my responsibilities?

??? Purchasing of goods including sourcing new products and negotiating existing contracts

??? Establishing commercial terms and supply agreements with our key suppliers and establish mutually beneficial relationships

??? Building our supply chain as a source of competitive advantage

??? Help us compete on freshness, quality, provenance, sustainability, price

??? Category management across various food and non-food categories

??? Working with relevant internal and external stakeholders to help achieve overall budget targets through successful negotiations, product and supplier reviews

??? Liaising across teams to ensure ingredients and products meet our high standards and are commercially viable

??? Sourcing products that align with our company values of sustainability and kindness

About you:

??? At least 5 years of relevant purchasing experience

??? Strong analytic and numerical skills

??? Commercially savvy and data driven, but also able to make a human connection with ops teams and suppliers

??? Confident and articulate negotiator with proven results.

??? Determination to achieve set goals

??? Able to work effectively as part of a team and build relationships at all levels

??? Able to work under pressure and deliver results within tight deadlines

??? Likely love dogs and care about their nutrition. This is what motivates us to get out of bed!
