Assistant Buyer
Our client a succesful fast fashion brand are looking for an experienced Assistant Buyer to join their team.
As an Assistant Buyer your role will include: • Reporting to the Junior Buyer & Buying Manager • Communicating effectively with suppliers • Price negotiations • Product and design selection • Market analysis to stay up to do date with industry best practice guidelines • Keeping tabs on what's hot, new, and trending • Attending fit sessions • Managing BAAs on critical path and OPO management • Ensuring assignments are completed in a timely manner • Mon-Fri (9am-6pm) • Office Based Role, Located in Manchester M8 Our successful Assistant Buyer will have/be: • Minimum 1-2 year experience in fashion buying role • Able to ensure relevant trends are translated into product range at speed to reflect the brand and the customer • To drive and execute clear fashion trends and exciting commercial ranges • Maintains effective relationships with customers and suppliers • Weekly trading performance, identifying opportunities to drive sales growth and promotions • Maximizing bestsellers and identifying underperformance and propose actions to improve sell through • Multi product buying knowledge • Great communication and interpersonal skills • Excellent organisation skills
