As the Contract and Supplier Management Manager you will manage the consulting company suppliers and focus on the consultancy engagement framework. You will lead the management of contracts and supplier relationships, applying best practice principles and developing strong supplier relationships to drive performance against contractual expectations, cost reductions and value maximisation for Southern Water, supporting the delivery of the supplier and contract management strategies.

You will ensure adherence to contract and supplier management processes and review and maintain adherence to contract lifecycle management best practice framework, including processes, procedures, tools, and templates, consulting the Centre of Excellence where required to ensure consistency in application. You will coordinate with contract end users, providing ongoing communication and support, and assist the Sourcing Manager in the review and finalisation of contracts.

You will have procurement and/or contract and supplier relationship management experience as well as high level stakeholder management skills and will use these to get to a trusted status with budget holders and guide stakeholders to put work out to tender. You will be influential and resilient in your approach and be an excellent communicator as well as listener to gain trust and build relationships.
