My client, a leading global freight forwarder, is looking to recruit a Commercial Manager to join the sales team within the UK. Reporting directly to the CCO, you will be responsible for winning new business for the company's Customs brokerage product.
This role will suit a sales professional who has experience within the Customs Brokerage sector, or perhaps an individual who has a thorough understanding of Customs/Brexit regulations and is keen to move into a more commercial role.
Role: BDM/Commercial Manager - Customs Brokerage
Location: England (flexible)
Salary: in the range of GBP48k-GBP58k dependent upon experience plus car allowance and commission
Industry: Sales / freight forwarding / Customs / Brexit
Responsibilities
- Identifying and sourcing own leads
- Responsible for developing client relationships and selling the company's customs brokerage services
- Meeting/Exceeding annual sales targets
Who we are looking for:
- Dynamic, highly driven sales professional with experience of sales within the freight industry OR a commercially focused Customs/Brexit specialist
- Excellent relationship building skills with both internal and external stakeholders
- Strong commercial focus and business acumen
- Strong presentation, communication and interpersonal skills
- Self starter with ability to source own leads
